French Authorities Confirm 1 Dead, 10 Hurt In Strasbourg Shooting, Gunman Identified

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 12th December, 2018) The prefecture of the Bas Rhin department in northeastern France confirmed on Tuesday that a gunman had killed one person and wounded ten others in downtown Strasbourg, adding that the shooter was identified.
"Around 8 p.m.
, a person opened fire in the center of Strasbourg in Rue des Orfevres. The shots injured several people. According to preliminary data, there are 11 victims, including one fatality and ten injured who were evacuated... The shooter has been identified and is actively searched for," the communique reads.
