Vincenzo Trani, the founder and president of General Invest company, will head the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, the chamber said in a statement on Tuesday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 04th June, 2019) Vincenzo Trani, the founder and president of General Invest company, will head the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, the chamber said in a statement on Tuesday.

Trani will succeed Rosario Alessandrello who has been heading the body since 1997, the statement added.

Trani has lived in Russia since 2000.

He worked with major Russian and European banks, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, KMB Bank, Intesa Bank, MDM Bank and Rosenergobank.

The General Invest group operates both in the Russian and international financial markets. The company seeks to encourage investment growth across Russia by using European developments.

The Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce was established back in 1964 and comprises of at least 350 members. The chamber has performed about 1,600 missions so far.
