IMF Chief Pledges Continued Support To Ukraine, Urges Acceleration Of Reforms - Statement

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will continue to support Ukraine, but urges Kiev to speed up implementing reforms, IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde said in a statement on Wednesday after a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Davos
"I reiterated that the IMF stands ready to continue to support Ukraine, along with other international partners, in its reform efforts under President Poroshenko's leadership," Lagarde said. "I also highlighted the urgency for Ukraine to accelerate reforms and transition to stronger growth."
