Kiev Wants Germany's Deutsche Bahn To Manage Ukrainian Railways For 10 Years - Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk

Kiev plans to hand over management of its national Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) to Germany's rail operator Deutsche Bahn for 10 years, Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said on Thursday
KIEV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd January, 2020) Kiev plans to hand over management of its national Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) to Germany's rail operator Deutsche Bahn for 10 years, Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk said on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Ukraine's Infrastructure Ministry signed a memorandum of cooperation with the German operator at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
"A memorandum between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Deutsche Bahn was signed [on Wednesday]. Yes, we want the Germans to manage the railway for 10 years," Honcharuk said.
