Kim, Putin Agreed to Strengthen Strategic Cooperation at Vladivostok Summit - Reports

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th April, 2019) North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed at their first summit in Vladivostok to boost bilateral ties and strategic partnership for regional peace and security in the future, the North Korean state-run KCNA news agency reported on Friday.

The two leaders met on Thursday to discuss the situation on the Korean Peninsula and bilateral relations between Moscow and Pyongyang. Putin said after his negotiations with Kim that the talks were substantive. Kim, in his turn, expressed hope that the negotiations would help strengthen bilateral ties.
