Kremlin Refutes Claims of 'Russian Trace' in Assassination Attempt on Zelenskyy's Aide

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2021) Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov refuted on Wednesday claims that there is a "Russian trace" in the assassination attempt on Ukraine's first presidential assistant, Serhiy Shefir.

"Unfortunately, nowadays in Ukraine, no matter what happens, none of the current politicians, to our regret, is able to exclude a 'Russian trace.

" Of course, this has nothing to do with the real state of affairs. These are rather signs of a really, you know, extremely exalted emotional state," Peskov told reporters.
