Kremlin Slams 'usurpation' Of Power In Venezuela, Calls Maduro 'legitimate' Leader

Moscow on Thursday stood by Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro, calling him the crisis-hit country's legitimate leader and denouncing the opposition's "usurpation of power"
"We consider attempted usurpation of power in Venezuela as... a breach of the foundations of international law," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. "Maduro is the legitimate head of state," he added.
