Lavrov Calls on CAR to Speed Up Investigation Into Murder of Three Russian Journalists

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 06th June, 2019) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov urged Central African Republic (car) Foreign Minister Sylvie Baipo-Temon to speed up the investigation of the killing of three Russian journalists in that country last year, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Thursday.

Lavrov met with Baipo-Temon on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Thursday.

"Lavrov called to maximally speed up the investigation of the murder of three Russian journalists in the Central African Republic in July 2018," the ministry said.
