Mortar Mine Strikes Wedding Party In Afghanistan, Killing 2, Injuring 13

MAIDAN SHAHR (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Nov, 2018 ) Nov 18 (Xinhua/APP):At least two people were killed and 13 others sustained injuries after a mortar mine fired by militants struck a wedding party in Jalriz district of Afghanistan's eastern Wardak province on Saturday, provincial government spokesman Abdul Rahman Mangal said Sunday.
The deadly incident, according to the official, took place at 4:30 p.m. local time Saturday when the Taliban militants fired a mortar mine which slammed a residential house where a wedding party was underway.
Two civilians were killed and and 13 others injured, the official said.
