(UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th November, 2018) A Palestinian fisherman died in the north of the Gaza Strip from a fire opened by the Israeli military, Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf Qedra told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"A 23-year-old Palestinian fisherman died from the fire by the Israeli military at sea in the north of the Gaza Strip," Qedra said.
Earlier on Wednesday, another Palestinian clash with the Israeli military occurred on the border with the Gaza Strip. According to the press service of the Israeli army, a Palestinian armed with a knife and scissors was seen at the border wall in the north of the enclave.
He threw military grenades, which, however, did not explode. The Israeli military fired back and detained the Palestinian.
Since Monday evening, Israel has attacked about 150 targets in the Gaza Strip in response to more than 400 missiles and shells fired from Palestinian territories. At least seven people were killed on the Palestinian side, one on the Israeli side, and more than 50 were injured. On Tuesday evening, the sides returned to a truce, completing the most intense fire exchange over the past four years.
