Patriarch Kirill Holds Memorial Prayer For Magnitogorsk Blast Victims - Church

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill held on Thursday in the Dormition Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin a memorial prayer for the victims of the deadly explosion in the Russian city of Magnitogorsk, patriarch's spokesman Alexander Volkov told Sputnik.
"Today, during the divine service in the Dormition Cathedral, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill prayed a speedy recovery of all people injured in Magnitogorsk and held a memorial prayer for those killed by collapse of the building," Volkov said.
On Monday, a bloc of the 10-storey building in Magnitogorsk collapsed due to a natural gas blast, leaving 39 people dead.
The search and rescue operation has ended as, according to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, no bodies remain under the debris.
