Russia-China Construction Of New Units Of China's NPPs Will Start In May 2021 - Rosatom

The construction of new units of Chinese nuclear power plants, in which Russia will participate, will begin in May 2021, Alexey Bannik, the vice president for projects in China at the ASE Engineering Company, which is part of the Russian state corporation Rosatom, said
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 01st April, 2019) The construction of new units of Chinese nuclear power plants, in which Russia will participate, will begin in May 2021, Alexey Bannik, the vice president for projects in China at the ASE Engineering Company, which is part of the Russian state corporation Rosatom, said.
"According to the contract, the laying works at Tianwan-7 will start in May 2021. In five months, the laying works at the third unit of the Xudapu NPP will start, while when five more months pass, the laying works at the eighth unit of the Tianwan NPP will start.
And in five months more, the laying works at the Xudapu-4 will start," Bannik said in at interview for the official newspaper of the Russian nuclear industry, called Strana Rosatom.
The launch of Tianwan NPP seventh and eighth units is scheduled for 2026 and 2027, respectively, while the third and fourth units of the Xudapu NPP (also known as Xudabao NPP) will be both launched in 2028, according to Rosatom.
