Russia is interested in increasing cooperation with Brunei in trade, defense and military sector, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th May, 2019) Russia is interested in increasing cooperation with Brunei in trade, defense and military sector, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Friday.

"We want a very good bilateral political dialogue that exists between our countries, including at the highest level, to be accompanied by increasing trade, economic, humanitarian, military and defense ties," Lavrov said ahead of the talks with the second foreign minister of Brunei, Erywan Yusof.

Lavrov added that Russia and Brunei had a good cooperation within the United Nations and organizations linked to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
