Russia Registers 6 Ceasefire Breaches In Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Defense Ministry

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st November, 2018) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire registered six truce breaches in the last 24 hours, while Turkey recorded five violations, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party to the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered six cases of firing in the provinces of Aleppo (5) and Latakia (1). The Turkish side has registered five cases of ceasefire violation in the provinces of Idlib (1), Aleppo (3) and Hama (1)," the ministry's Center for Syrian Reconciliation said in a daily bulletin.
Moreover, the center held two humanitarian operations in Aleppo and Latakia provinces over the past 24 hours, according to the bulletin.
Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011, with the government forces fighting against numerous opposition groups and terrorist organizations. Russia along with Turkey and Iran are guarantors of the ceasefire regime in Syria.
