Russia To Do Everything Possible To Prevent Terrorist Acts Like In New Zealand - Putin

The Russian authorities will do everything possible to prevent terrorist acts like the one in New Zealand, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Monday
"We mourn the people killed in New Zealand in that terrible terrorist act, the purpose of which was, of course, to blow up the situation in the country.
We will do everything that depends on us to prevent anything like that," Putin said at a meeting with public figures in Crimea.
On Friday, shooting occurred in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern called the shooting a terrorist act. A total of 50 people are believed to have been killed, another 50 were injured. One man was charged with murder.
