Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to San Marino, one of the world's smallest countries located on the northeast of the Apennine Peninsula, on Thursday to hold a meeting with his Sammarinese counterpart, Nicola Renzi, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Friday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th March, 2019) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to San Marino, one of the world's smallest countries located on the northeast of the Apennine Peninsula, on Thursday to hold a meeting with his Sammarinese counterpart, Nicola Renzi, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Friday.
"On March 21, at the invitation of the Sammarinese side, the Russian minister of foreign affairs will pay an official visit to the Republic of San Marino.
Talks with Secretary of State for Foreign and Political Affairs and Justice Nicola Renzi ... are expected to take place," Zakharova told a briefing.
The Russian top diplomat is also expected to deliver a speech at San Marino's parliament, the Grand and General Council, the spokeswoman added.
During the visit, Lavrov will also exchange views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations and will address international issues, Zakharova said.
