Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday that he had agreed with his Tajik counterpart, Emomali Rahmon, to continue strengthening defense industry cooperation and the fight against drug trafficking
"Of course, during the talks ... we agreed to further deepen defense, defense industry, anti-terror and anti-drug cooperation both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization," Putin said after talks with Rahmon.
"When discussing international issues, the positions of the two countries on the key aspects of the regional and global agenda were identical or similar," he said.
