Spain's parliament suspended Friday the mandates of four Catalan lawmakers who were elected from jail while on trial over their role in the region's failed 2017 separatist bid, the speaker of the assembly said
Madrid, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2019 ) :Spain's parliament suspended Friday the mandates of four Catalan lawmakers who were elected from jail while on trial over their role in the region's failed 2017 separatist bid, the speaker of the assembly said.
Spain's Supreme Court allowed them to temporarily leave jail on Tuesday to be sworn in along with the rest of the lawmakers who were elected in a general election last month.
