Syrian Air Defenses Repel Israeli Air Strike in Country's South - Source

DAMASCUS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th January, 2019) Syrian air defense systems on Sunday repelled yet another air strike by Israel in the south of Syria, a source in the country's military told Sputnik.

"Our air defense systems have repelled Israel's air strike in a southern [Syrian] region.

All missiles have been intercepted, none of them hit their targets," the source said.

Israel has taken a neutral stance on the conflict in Syria, but it has been conducting air raids in the country against Lebanese paramilitary group Hezbollah.
