Three Syrian Servicemen Wounded By Militants' Shelling In 2 Provinces - Russian Military

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th May, 2019) Three Syrian servicemen were wounded in shelling by illegal armed groups in the Syrian provinces of Latakia and Hama, the Russian center for Syrian reconciliation said on Saturday.
"Over the past day, terrorists attacked Rwaisat Rushu (twice), Dahr Abu Assad (twice), Saraf, Nahshebba, Djub al-Zarur, Safsafa, Sandjeka, Djub al-Mgara, Qalat Marza in Latakia province, and Qardan in Hama province. As a result of the shelling, three servicemen of the Syrian army were wounded," Maj.
Gen. Viktor Kupchishin, the head of the center, said at a briefing.
He also added that over the past day, the center held one humanitarian action in the district of Ard al-Hamra of Aleppo city, delivering 500 food sets to local residents.
Russia, alongside Turkey and Iran, is a guarantor of the ceasefire regime in Syria. Moscow has also been assisting Damascus through supporting the struggle against terrorist groups, providing humanitarian aid to local residents and facilitating the return of refugees.
