TOKYO (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 14th December, 2018) No unilateral inspections concerning the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty can be held in Russia, while Moscow is ready to hold intergovernmental talks with the United States, Vladimir Ermakov, the director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department for Nonproliferation and Arms Control, told Sputnik on Friday.
"Any unilateral inspections on the territory of the Russian Federation are out of question. If the United States really wants to agree upon something with us, then we need to get down to the negotiations table, hold intergovernmental-format talks, and discuss everything thoroughly. We're ready for it," Ermakov said.
