US Special Representative for Venezuela Elliot Abrams will discuss the situation in the crisis-hit Latin American country with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov in Rome on March 18-19, the US State Department said

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th March, 2019) US Special Representative for Venezuela Elliot Abrams will discuss the situation in the crisis-hit Latin American country with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov in Rome on March 18-19, the US State Department said.

"Special Representative for Venezuela Elliott Abrams will meet with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov and other Russian officials in Rome March 18-19 to discuss the deteriorating situation in Venezuela," the department said in a statement.

The statement added that Abrams would also hold talks on the issue with Italian officials, including Prime Minister Diplomatic Advisor Pietro Benassi.
