"The American partners, by their public threats to carry out a large-scale military action against Syria, hamper reconciliation in that state.

Instead of pushing the so-called sane armed opposition to dialogue, they instill in the opposition a really illusory feeling that they can intervene in the conflict on their side," Zakharova said at a briefing.
