The United States is working on scenarios to change power in Venezuela by military means, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Thursday
"According to media reports, a united command post of the so-called humanitarian operation, or, if things are called by their proper Names, simply humanitarian intervention, is being deployed in an area bordering on Venezuela (Colombia), which was recently visited by high-ranking US military officials," Zakharova said at a briefing.
"Judging by the activity of US military delegations, which have literally flooded the region recently, a detailed study of the comprehensive, including logistic, support of the military option to change power in Venezuela is being conducted... There are no questions of democracy here, no one is trying to get it back, they just try to change power in Venezuela," she said.
