The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) benchmark KSE-100 witnessed bearish trend on Monday, shedding 379.78 points, a negative change of 0.27 percent, closing at 138,217.58 points against 138,597.36 points last trading day
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2025) The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) benchmark KSE-100 witnessed bearish trend on Monday, shedding 379.78 points, a negative change of 0.27 percent, closing at 138,217.58 points against 138,597.36 points last trading day.
A total of 608,186,190 shares were traded during the day as compared to 609,443,979 shares the previous trading day, whereas the price of shares stood at Rs 23.523 billion against Rs 31.624 billion on the last trading day.
As many as 479 companies transacted their shares in the stock market, 193 of them recorded gains and 245 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 41 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were Prud Mod. Ist with 58,737,418 shares at Rs 4.98 per share, E-Electric Limited with 53,175,405 shares at Rs5.43 per share and Pak International Bulk with 51,735,265 shares at Rs 10.06 per share.
Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited witnessed a maximum increase of Rs 988.00 per share price, closing at Rs 25,498.00, whereas the runner-up was Nestle Pakistan Limited with Rs 86.97 rise in its per share price to Rs 7,400.00.
PIA Holding Company LimitedB witnessed a maximum decrease of Rs3,446.15 per share closing at Rs 31,015.32 followed by Bata Pakistan Limited with Rs35.44 decline in its share price to close at Rs1,650.89.
