Koreans fight off Summer in a grand water fighting festival

Seoul, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th July, 2016) : In south Korea, warm weather triggered a unique water fighting festival in which a large number of people came out of their houses on a road and showered the opponents with the water filled guns.

The people frustrated due to the hot weather felt joy in showering one another with the water filled in buckets, guns and pistols. It helped them a lot coping with the unpleasant weather.The festival, which is held in the Yonsei-ro area of Sinchon, runs for two days and also includes a grand parade and concert, according to the Visit Seoul website.
