Al Maktoum Foundation Explores Education Needs In Addis Ababa

The Mayor of Addis Ababa Takele Uma has thanked H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and sponsor of Al Maktoum Foundation, for opening Hamdan bin Rashid schools in Addis Ababa, to support the education in Ethiopia and providing local students with an opportunity to receive quality education
ADDIS ABABA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 18th Jan, 2019) The Mayor of Addis Ababa Takele Uma has thanked H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and sponsor of Al Maktoum Foundation, for opening Hamdan bin Rashid schools in Addis Ababa, to support the education in Ethiopia and providing local students with an opportunity to receive quality education.
The appreciation from the city Mayor came during the visit of a delegation from the foundation, headed by Mirza Al Sayegh, who was there to inaugurate these schools in Addis Ababa.
"We need more schools, boarding and other facilities for students," the Mayor said, adding, the schools are crowded with a large number of students and some do not have a chance of learning in areas due to the nonavailability of institutions.
In turn, Al Sayegh said Hamdan bin Rashid schools in Africa guide the way to the future, noting that many of the graduates from these schools have gain access to higher education, especially in the University of Africa.
He said that the accommodation facility will be provided to foundations' teachers.
