11978 Vacancies Of Teachers In Government Schools In KP Vacant

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Oct, 2023) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Education Department has revealed that there are 11,978 vacancies of teachers in government schools of the province. These vacancies belong to different cadres, including female and male teachers of scale 12 and 15.
The department is planning to conduct a test for recruitment through the Education Testing Agency (ETA). The registration of candidates is likely to start from next month.
The document revealed that a total of 1,174 vacancies of certificate teachers in scale 15 in boys' schools are vacant. There are also 390 posts of drawing masters and 388 posts of scale 15 physical education teachers vacant in boys' schools.
Similarly, 424 posts of Arabic teachers, 302 posts of scale 15 theology teachers, 195 posts of 12th scale reader and 75 posts of 12th scale CTIT need to be filled in boys' schools.
As many as 4,330 posts of male school teachers are vacant in Primary schools and a total of 7,275 posts of male teachers have been identified as vacant.
In girls' schools, a total of 558 posts of CT, 272 posts of drawing masters and 305 posts of physical education teachers are vacant. There are also 312 posts of Arabic teachers that need to be filled.
Furthermore, 140 posts of theology teachers, 103 posts of readers and 56 posts of CTI ATI are vacant in girls' schools.
Likewise, 2,957 posts of primary school teachers are vacant and a total of 4,703 teacher posts are vacant in female schools.
