Accountability Bureau Files Reference Against Officials Of Education Department

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Accountability Bureau Thursday filed a corruption reference in accountability court here against several officials of education department for allegedly making bogus appointments.
MUZAFFARABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Feb, 2018 ) :Azad Jammu and Kashmir Accountability Bureau Thursday filed a corruption reference in accountability court here against several officials of education department for allegedly making bogus appointments.
The reference has been filed against former Divisional Director Schools, Abdul Rehman Sheerazi, former Assistant Director, Muhammad Aslam Chughtai, former District Education Officer Hattian Balla Gul Zareen Awan and head clerk of his office Chaudhry Muhammad Ayood.
According to reference, the Bureau investigated the charges on complaint of Muhammad Naeem and found substantial evidence to prosecute them after suspending them from service.
Reference said that accused advertised two posts of junior teachers in 2015 through a newspaper and later appointed 13 teachers through bogus test interviews and violating the rules and regulations.
The appointments were made through a bogus and suspicious procedure by misusing their powers which was a criminal offense under accountability law, the reference added.
