ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2017 ) : A Sub-Committee of Senate House Committee Friday directed Capital Development Authority (CDA) to resolve its differences with the contractor for completion of Parliament Lodges Extension Block.
The committee, headed by Sardar Fateh Muhammad Muhammad Hassani, expressed its reservation over the delay in completion of Parliament Lodges Extension Block. Chairman CDA apprised the committee that the authority had been making all out efforts to resolve the issue with the contractor but he was not responding positively.
Hassani assured full cooperation of the committee to the CDA in early resolution of the matter.
The committee directed to properly focus on the maintenance work of Parliament Lodges. The committee was informed that delay in the release of funds created hurdles in the smooth maintenance of the lodges.
The body decided to summon Finance Division high ups in the next meeting to take up the matter of non release of funds. It also directed to improve coordination with Islamabad Police for proper security within and outside the Parliament Lodges.
The meeting was attended by Senators Sitara Ayaz, Samina Abid, Secretary CADD, Chairman CDA Sheikh Ansar Aziz and officials of different departments.
