'International Anti Corruption Day' To Be Observed On Dec 9

International Anti Corruption Day' will be observed on Dec 9 all over the world including Pakistan to raise awareness and highlight the dangerous affects of the corruption.

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Dec, 2018 ) :International Anti Corruption Day' will be observed on Dec 9 all over the world including Pakistan to raise awareness and highlight the dangerous affects of the corruption.

The United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) was first opened for signing at Merida, Mexico in 2003 on this day while the Government of Pakistan ratified the convention in August 2007.

The International Anti Corruption Day is a day for all the governments to join hands against corruption by creating awareness of the day and the prevailing issues around it.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) and other organizations working for elimination of corruption, would arrange special programmes, seminars and walks to mark the Day.
