Road Safety Club Set Up At Abdul Wali Khan Varsity

A road safety club has established at Tamargarha Campus of Abdul Wali Khan University aimed to reduce traffic accident and create awareness among the people about the traffic rules.
LOWER DIR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Dec, 2018 ) :A road safety club has established at Tamargarha Campus of Abdul Wali Khan University aimed to reduce traffic accident and create awareness among the people about the traffic rules.
In this regard an inaugural ceremony held here on Tuesday, District Police Officer of Lower Dir, Arif Shahbaz Wazir and Coordinator of the University Professor Minhaj ud Din were the chief guest on the occasion.
The speakers while addressing at ceremony said that the main purpose of setting up of road safety club was to create awareness among the masses and promote traffic rules, while seminars and traffic awareness camps would be established to train drivers and awareness for pedestrians.
The students of different schools and colleges would participate in the seminars and workshops besides volunteer students could serve as a member.
DPO Arif Shahbaz Wazir expressed that major part of our country population consisting on youth and it was the need of hour to utilized the capabilities of young people.
President of Road Safety Club Professor Masood Ahmed, General Secretary Abrar Ahmed, Traffic In-charge Shad Muhammad, In-charge Traffic education Unit Hashmat were participated, students presented the games and national songs.
