Simple Procedure To Be Used For Issuance Of Number Plates: Minister

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd August, 2016) : Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation Mukesh Kumar Chawla Wednesday said that a simple procedure for issuance of number plates and books for vehicles must be implemented and all possible measures should be taken to facilitate the people.
This he said while presiding over a meeting here in his office, said a statement. Secretary Excise and Taxation Abdul Rasheed Shaikh, D.G. Excise and Taxation Shabir Ahmed Shaikh, Directors Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Pir Mujeeb Jan Sarhandi and Muneer Ahmed Zardari also attended the meeting.
He said that Chief Minister Sindh had directed to curb corruption in all government departments and we had to take all-out efforts to eradicate corruption in Excise and Taxation department.
He added, we have to work hard to achieve the targets and work together to provide better facilities to the people. Mukesh Kumar said that we would try to generate more revenue for the government so that the money could be utilized for the Welfare of the masses. He said that the things would gradually be better and the people would feel a better change very soon.
