English Version Of Crimean Magazine Presented In Geneva - Editor-in-Chief

SIMFEROPOL (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st March, 2019) Crimean Magazine presented its special English edition in Geneva in order to show Western countries what life in Crimea is really like, the magazine's editor-in-chief told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"We tried to tell the Western public the truth about how the modern Crimea is living and developing," Maria Volkonskaya said, adding that French, Swiss and South African journalists were among those who attended the presentation.
The presentation took place within the conference, dubbed Freedom of the Media: Modern Challenges and Threats, and was supported by the Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva.
Crimean Magazine is a socially-oriented project sponsored by the Crimean government. It was founded and published by the state budgetary institution of the Crimean republic "Editorial office of the Krymskaya Gazeta newspaper." The first issue of the magazine was released in December 2015.
