France's Hollande Congratulates Macron On Reaching Presidential Runoff

PARIS, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2017 ) : French President Francois Hollande congratulated pro-EU candidate Emmanuel Macron on Sunday after projected results showed him reaching the second round of the presidential election.
Hollande's office said he had called Macron "to congratulate him" on reaching the runoff in which he will face far-right leader Marine Le Pen, according to projections, but did not explicitly endorse Macron at this point.
