International Terrorists Target Siberia - Official

NOVOSIBIRSK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th October, 2018) Russia's Siberia is becoming an increasingly attractive target for international terror groups, the secretary of the national security council said.

"Terrorist activity in the region is on the rise.

There is a high risk of international terrorist organizations slipping into Siberia," Nikolai Patrushev said Wednesday.

"New data shows that assets of this Federal district are in crosshairs of international terrorist and extremist organizations," he said at a Council meeting in Novosibirsk.
