Sustainable Development To Dominate Agenda Of 2019 St. Petersburg Economic Forum - Website

Sustainable development will become the main topic of this year's edition of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), according to the event's program issued on Monday on the SPIEF's website
"The key topic of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum scheduled for 6-8 June 2019 is Creating a Sustainable Development Agenda" the organizers said.
The 2019 SPIEF program will also include the B20 Regional Consultation Forum, the Russia-China Energy Business Forum, International Youth Economic Forum, Shanghai Cooperation Organization Conference, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Forum and BRICS Conference.
The upcoming forum will also touch upon the following topics: the Global Economy in Search of a Balance, Technologies Shaping The Future, as well as Russian Economy: Achieving National Development Goals.
On the SPIEF sidelines, Russia will hold a number of bilateral business dialogues: with Austria, China, India, Italy, the United States, Finland, France, Switzerland and Africa, among others.
SPIEF, held annually in Russia's second largest city of St. Petersburg, is a major global platform for communication between business representatives and the discussion of crucial economic issues.
