MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd November, 2018) One Syrian serviceman was injured in militant shelling of Syria's western province of Latakia, the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria said late on Tuesday.
"Despite the ceasefire regime being established throughout the country, there are still cases of ceasefire regime violation by illegal armed formations in the Idlib de-escalation zone ... Over the past day, terrorists attacked Shweyhba, Vrede, Sheikh-Aysa, Aleppo province, and Hara district of Aleppo city (three times). Two civilians were wounded.
As a result of the attack at Karamanli in Latakia province one Syrian serviceman was wounded," the center said in a daily bulletin.
Moreover, the Russian center has delivered almost 2 tonnes of food to the residents of the northern province of Aleppo, according to the bulletin.
Russia, alongside Iran and Turkey, is a guarantor of the ceasefire regime in Syria. Moscow has also been assisting Damascus both through supporting the struggle against the terrorist groups and by providing humanitarian aid to the residents of the crisis-torn country.
