The Venezuelan authorities did not ask Russia for support in the UN Security Council because of foreign interference in the country's sovereign affairs, head of the Russian upper house's international committee Konstantin Kosachev said Thursday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th January, 2019) The Venezuelan authorities did not ask Russia for support in the UN Security Council because of foreign interference in the country's sovereign affairs, head of the Russian upper house's international committee Konstantin Kosachev said Thursday.

"As far as I know, we have not received any address on the issue from Venezuela," Kosachev said.
