Khalifa Foundation Delegation Meets Governor Of Socotra

A delegation from the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation arrived today in Socotra, Yemen. The delegation was received by Ramzi Mahrous, Governor of Socotra, along with a number of senior officials and citizens.

SOCOTRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 16th Nov, 2018) A delegation from the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation arrived today in Socotra, Yemen. The delegation was received by Ramzi Mahrous, Governor of Socotra, along with a number of senior officials and citizens.

Socotra officials and residents thanked the UAE and its leadership and praised their efforts in providing humanitarian and relief assistance and driving efforts towards steps that support services needed by the archipelago.

The delegation of the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation, headed by Khalfan Al Mazrouei, met with the Governor of Socotra along with a number of local officials in the archipelago.

During the meeting, the two sides touched on the humanitarian work carried out by the Khalifa Foundation, especially during the hurricanes that hit the archipelago, noting that the Foundation was one of the first charitable and humanitarian institutions that reached to them.
