OIC To Hold Preparatory Workshop On 7th Ministerial Conference On Women

JEDDAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 24th Jun, 2018) The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold a workshop in preparation for the 7th Ministerial Conference on the Role of Women in Development in the Member States on 28th-29th June 2018, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

The workshop aims to examine issues to be discussed at the conference and documents to be presented to the Senior Officials’ Meeting preparatory for the ministerial conference scheduled for 28th November this year in Burkina Faso.

The workshop will be attended by relevant OIC organs and institutions, members of the Advisory Council for Women in the framework of the Conference and a number of institutions working in the field of women empowerment in this west African country.
