160 Bags Of Substandard Insecticides Seized; 3 Booked

MULTAN,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -31st Augst,2016) : Agriculture department officials here recovered substandard insecticides worth Rs two lakh and got a case registered against three outlaws on Wednesday. According to Executive District Officer,Agriculture,Shafqat Bhatti, on a tip-off a team of Agriculture department led by Deputy district officer (extension) Rai Zafar Abbas conducted a raid at Makkah town,situated along Piranghaib road.
The team came across three persons packing substandard insecticides to be sent to market.
The team recovered 160 bags of insecticide. A case was registered against the accused identified as Mushtaq Jutt resident of Okara, Jamshed Ahmed resident of Gujranwala, and another man Moazzim. Concerned police sent samples of the recovered insecticides to district lab for analysis.
