A child drowned to death after he fell into canal. The police arrested three criminals with arms and snatched bike here on Saturday.
Khairpur, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2018) : A child drowned to death after he fell into canal. The police arrested three criminals with arms and snatched bike here on Saturday. Police said that six-year-old Bilal Shaikh while playing outside his house located near Pir Jo Goth in Khairpur, slipped and fell into Lalan Minor.
The child drowned to death before he could be rescued. The body was fished out by the relatives and dwellers after efforts of several hours. The Gambat on a tip-off conducted raid on Raipur link road and apprehended two notorious criminals Waheed Ali Jamro and Arslan Khuhro with a TT Pistol, several cartridges and a stolen bike.
The nabbed culprits were also involved in receiving monthlies from the traders and landlords. The Kot Lalo police arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) Mushtaq Ali Solangi during raid near city and recovered of unlicensed TT Pistol and cartridges from his possession.
The detainee was wanted in many heinous crimes and courts had declared him as proclaimed offender. Separate cases were registered against the detainees at concerned police stations and investigation was underway.
