CMCC To Help Redress Complaints Of People: Usman Buzdar

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had fulfilled another promise by establishing Chief Minister's Complaints Center (CMCC).
Addressing an inauguration ceremony of CMCC here, he said the CMSS was established under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to redress the complaints of the people.
Initially, the complaints could be lodged at the specified numbers related to health, education, police and DC Office. Later, the scope of the center would be extended across Punjab.
The chief minister said that provision of immediate solutions to the people was among priorities of the government, adding that launch of CMCC would help to redress the grievances at the level of districts, tehsils and villages.
"I have initiated an open-door policy in the offices to eliminate chit-system, adding that I would personally monitor the work at the centre".
Usman Buzdar said that feedback of the media would also be collected and complaints would be resolved from three days to two weeks time period. Immediate response would be received about the complaints lodged in this center, he maintained.
To a question, the chief minister said that he had witness the problems of Southern Punjab as he was elected from the most backward area. Prime Minister Imran Khan would announce a development package for Southern Punjab, he disclosed.
To another question, he said all matters pertaining to the government as well as the release of funds would be done through a transparent mechanism.
To a query, the chief minister said that a lot of work has been done on the draft of new local bodies system, adding that the draft of new local bodies system would be approved by provincial cabinet after which it would be presented in the Assembly.
Addressing on the occasion, Chief Secretary Yousaf Naseem Khokhar said that purpose of the centre was to facilitate people for early solution of their problems. People would have access to different public dealing departments to resolve their problems on priority basis and initially, he added.
This would help to improve the working environment of the public sector departments, he maintained.
Chief Secretary, ACS (Home), IG Police, ACS, Chairman P&D and others were also present on the occasion.
