Commissioner Visits Flood-hit Areas

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Commissioner Gujranwala Division Capt. (Retd) Muhammad Asif, along with Pakistan Muslim League-N MPA Chaudhry Muhammad Akraam, DCO, Dr Asif Tufail, on Thursday visited flood-hit areas.
Talking to the media during his visit to Judhay Wali, Niakapura etc. the Commissioner said that the government would provide all possible help to the flood victims. He inspected relief activities for flood victims.
He directed the concerned to provide tents, food, medicines and other necessary items to help flood victims.
He also directed the administration to drain out floodwater as soon as possible from the flood-hit areas. MPA Chaudhry Muhammad Akraam said on the occasion that the government would take all measures to facilitate flood victims. He appreciated the role of all departments particularly Water Rescuer of Rescue 1122, who rescued 37 people in Paki Kotli, Aimanabad Road area.
