Govt Paying Special Focus On Promotion Of Tourism: Minister

Punjab Tourism Minister Raja Yasir Humayun on Saturday said that the incumbent government was paying special focus on the promotion of tourism.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2018 ) :Punjab Tourism Minister Raja Yasir Humayun on Saturday said that the incumbent government was paying special focus on the promotion of tourism.

He added that exploring new tourism places and providing facilities to tourists were priorities of the government.

The minister expressed these views during drivers and navigators conference on the occasion of the third Jeep rally.

He said that they were trying to organise jeep rally in Chakwal also to provide entertainment opportunities to the people of area.

On this occasion, Managing Director Tourism Development Corporation (TDCP) Punjab Ahmer Malik said that they were trying to promote activities and introduce tourism places in world.

He recalled that initiating Thal Jeep Rally three years ago was a difficult task but it was done in a good manner.

He said that Cholistan Jeep Rally had become an international event. He also hailed the role of departments in conducting Thal Jeep Rally.

General Manager TDCP Asjad Ghani said that there were many projects of tourism in pipeline.
