IGP KP Presents Journalist Murder Investigation Report In KP Assembly

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Salahuddin Khan Mehsud here Friday presented investigation report of the murder of journalist Sohail Khan in KP Assembly.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Oct, 2018 ) :Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Salahuddin Khan Mehsud here Friday presented investigation report of the murder of journalist Sohail Khan in KP Assembly.

The Assembly that met here with Speaker Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani in the chair, was informed by the IGP about different aspects of the case.

The IGP in his report informed the house that motive behind killing of the journalist Sohail Khan at Haripur district was publication of a news regarding narcotics.

He said four teams were constituted for investigation of the case from different angles and FIA, CTD and intelligence agencies are helping in investigation.

The investigation team has also taken on board Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) and President of Press Club.
