Nawaz Sharif’s Guards Attack TV Channel’s Cameraman

Cameraman Wajid Ali fell unconscious due to the attack.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th December, 2018) The security guard of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif attacked a media person in Islamabad on Monday.
According to media reports, the cameraman of a local tv channel was only performing his duty by making a footage of the former prime minister when he was leaving the National Assembly.
This was when his guards intercepted him and attacked him.
Cameraman Wajid Ali fell unconscious due to the attack.
Media reports further said that the guards brutally attacked the cameraman, and kept hitting him on his abdomen until he lost his consciousness.
The journalist community started protesting the attack and demanded an action against the PML-N leadership.
The PML-N leaders have not yet given any statement on the incident.
The cameraman has been taken to a nearby hospital.
