No One Dare To Harass Women At Workplace After Enactment Of Relevant Laws: Mangrio

MIRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Nov, 2016 ) : District complaint centre of Provincial Ombudsman for the protection against harassment of women at workplace organized an awareness programme on Thursday at Saint Teresa Hospital Mirpurkhas.
Addressing on the occasion, In-charge district complaint centre Mirpurkhas, Muhammad Khan Mangrio informed that government not only enacted a law to protect the working women but an efficient and powerful organization was also set up to implement the law.
He said under the law inquiry committees has been constituted at government and private organization to deal with complaints of harassment of women at workplace while heads of government departments and private entities were required to process applications in this regard at the earliest, he said.
Muhammad Khan informed that after receiving any complaint of harassment at workplace a notice would be served within three days to the perpetrator and he would be bound to submit its reply within 8 days. He said that penalty could be imposed if any person under the charges of harassment refrains to submit reply within stipulated time.
