PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2017 ) : Provincial President PML-N Amir Muqam Sunday said nomination of Sheikh Rashid for slot of prime minister by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf reflected dual standard of party.
Presiding over a party meeting here, he said it reflected Imran's dual standard as PTI wanted to degrade Sheikh Rashid by nominating him for premiership. He said PML-N leader, Muhammed Nawaz Sharif accepted Supreme Court decision against him for intrest of country and supremacy of law.
He said PML-N was proud of the fact that Nawaz Sharif proved innocent against charges of corruption in Panama case. Engineer Amir Muqam said conspiracies against Muhammed Nawaz Sharif were being hatched for making Pakistan an atomic power, taking the country out of power crisis, putting it on path of economic prosperity and initiating economic corridor project.
He said Nawaz Sharif lived in hearts and minds of people and would always remained leader of PML-N, adding that no decision could remove his affection from hearts and minds of masses. Muqam said that Imran Khan would soon fall prey to articles 62 and 63.
He said Imran should have to be grateful to Nawaz Sharif for allowing him to form government in Khyber Pakthunkhwa which was otherwise a dream of PTI. Earlier he chaired a meeting of provincial leadership to express solidarity with Nawaz Sharif.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Pir Sabir Shah, Sar Anjam Khan, President female wing of PML-N KP Tahira Bukhari and all senators, MNA and MPAs as well as party workers from KP, Waziristan and Bajaur.
